Legal Alert - State of National Emergency: New mandates to reestablish social coexistence

Through Supreme Decree No. 016-2022-PCM, the Peruvian government has declared a new State of National Emergency, which will be in effect until March 31, 2022. Although this decree repeals Supreme Decree No. 184-2020-PCM (including its supplemental and additional provisions), it maintains certain mandates for the reestablishment of social coexistence without neglecting the surveillance and prevention of the spread of the COVID-19.
